How Are These Plates made?

I create them by collecting fallen leaves from around my house. Next I scanned in the best leaf pressings to create a digital image of the leaves on my computer. Then I print the image out on a ceramic decal, meaning the ink is actually food safe ceramic glaze. The decal is applied to the plates, and then in goes into the kiln and heated to 2100 degrees, creating the permanent design in the glaze. These plates are extremely durable and are dishwasher safe.
