This vibrant painting captures a pair of dandelions blowing on the wind. I painted it in with alcohol inks on an 11 x 14 inch claybord panel.

Buyer will need to have this painting framed. It is not framed, and encaustic paintings really do need a frame to protect them in case the painting falls off the wall. You don’t want glass on the front of the frame, you want a “floating frame”, so that no part of the frame touches the face or sides the painting. It’s painted out of beeswax + damar resin. Please familiarize yourself with encaustic paintings of you plan to order this. They are like little art pets and require attention.

This oil painting captures the vibrant colors of late October in Fletcher, NC. The wind blowing leaves makes the landscape dance with orange sparkles against the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. I painted this outside on my front porch. It’s on an 11 x 14 inch claybord panel.
